This 3" lower jaw tooth found in a Georgia river has a beautiful mottled brown coloration caused by the tannins in the water it was recovered from. Part of the tooth was still trapped in the sediment, causing a visible line where the tooth shows a darker color. Very unique among meg teeth, this is the only tooth currently on the site with this neat feature.
